ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web, API, desktop and mobile applications.
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test scenarios, and test cases, and maintain clear documentation.
Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities in collaboration with product, development and DevOps teams.
Identify, record, and thoroughly document defects/bugs, track them to closure, and communicate impact and risk clearly.
Develop and maintain automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium / Cypress / Playwright (or similar).
Perform UI, API, regression, integration, performance and compatibility testing as per project needs.
Use tools like JIRA, Jenkins, JMeter, Postman (or similar) for test management, CI/CD integration, performance testing and API validation.
Collaborate closely with developers to troubleshoot issues, analyse root causes and improve product quality.
Ensure adherence to SDLC/STLC, QA processes, and best practices, including test coverage, traceability and reporting.
